About a month or so ago I was given Dell Inspiron (sp) 2500 laptop. The person told me the computer crashed and needed to be reformatted and everything needed to be reinstalled. So after getting the laptop I went in and did the reformat and reinstall of everything save the set of programs for the computer cause I was only using it for specific things. Well everything was going great but now all of a sudden it starts to boot up. I see the dell screen and then the xp screen comes up and it starts to go to where you log in but that screen stays black. Can someone help me figure out why???

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
