I am not sure where to start with this but i am trying to share files between my laptop(XP) and my desktop(Vista). Right now I can print from my laptop to the desktop printer and I can view files on my laptop from my desktop. I cannot view files on my desktop from my laptop. I get the message that my desktop is not accessible. You might not have permission............. I have had this problem before and I am pretty sure it was a setting on the desktop. I had to reinstall windows on the desktop and obviously lost my settings. I know it is something simple and stupid I have over looked. Any ideas?
