I'm using a Sony Vaio laptop, running on Windows XP service pack 2 and somewhere along the way have lost Bluetooth. It should be listed as a icon in my Control Panel but it's nowhere to be found. I've tried looking at the Microsoft website for guidance but didn't have anything to help, it all seemed to point towards bluetooth devices not being recognised rather than Bluetooth actually missing from the system.

I'm guessing I probably need a download to reinstall but don't know where to find what I'm looking for. I've also checked the Vaio website and my recovery disc plus countless hours looking through search engines !!

Really not sure what's gone wrong or how to fix it !!

Help !!

Could you give us the series# and model#? Open up Device Manager and look for any yellow exclamation points by any devices

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
