My computer will not switch between users when I use the start menu and log off button.

I go to start, log off and then click on switch users, then nothing happens.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

See this Microsoft article, which may be of some help.

Not much help. I followed the instructions, but it did not help. When I click "apply options" I close the screen and go back to make sure the dialog box is checked, and it is not. Not sure why the changes are not saved.

See this Microsoft article on fast user switching. It explains the situations in which fast user switching will not work. Do any of these apply to you?

How do I preform this action?

To restore the default Windows logon interface, remove the following string value from the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\GinaDLL

And, why doesn't the spell check work on this when selected?
