The PF Usage in the TaskManager doubles the increase when I open a new tab in the Internet Explorer. It shouldn't increase that much! Can anyone help me with this problem? I posted HiJackThis analysis one week ago, I think. Anyway, can anyone help me with this problem? I would be mostly appreciated.

How much physical ram is on this machine?

this one that I am on right now has 1 gig, pf usage is 595mb.

remember, the less ram you have or have available, the larger the pf usage gets. I just looked at your hijack this log you have 65 to 70 running processes, this is probably the issue. don't do anything to your machine until one of the hijack this team members looks at the log

I have 1.5 GB of RAM. But the PF usage increase sometimes up to 400-1.30 GB of RAM. It depends on how much I opened a new tab in the Internet Explorer just by using one Internet Explorer page. Not only does it increase, but it also stays the same when I close the tab. For example, right now my PF usage is 740 MB and I'm using two tabs now. I had three or four tabs opened, then I closed them. It was from 400-740 MB of RAM.

Hi chow2rich,

I see where you have posted a HJT log (July 7) as stated above. Please review this topic Haven't Had A Reply In Five Days? As Oldf@rt has stated, please follow only the advise of the team member who takes your log.

Thanks,
rigel
