What this programs does: WinIFixer is a rogue antispyware program that is directly advertised and installed through the use of Trojans and other adware. WinIFixer is also next in the family to a very wide spread rogue called WinFixer. This infection is typically advertised through malware, which displays advertisements on your computer without permission. Some of these advertisements are misleading security warnings trying to purch WinIFixer. Once the software is installed on your computer, it will automatically scan for infections and state that you have infected with a variety of malware. Some of these found items are in fact legitimate programs, while others do not even exist on your computer. In order to remove anything that is found, though, you must first purchase a license of the software. A screen shot of the WinIFixer program can be found below.
