How to remove AntivirusDoc (Uninstall Instructions)Posted by Grinler on August 24, 2008 @ 09:08 PM · Views: 1,936
What this programs does: AntivirusDoc is a new rogue anti-spyware program that uses misleading and fake security alerts as well as false information in order to scare you into purchasing the program. Once downloaded and installed, AntivirusDoc will be set to run automatically when your computer starts. Once started, the program will scan your computer and list a variety of infections found on your computer. These supposed malware files include C:\Windows\dxtmsft.dll, C:\Windows\encapi.dll, C:\Windows\ersvc.dll, and C:\Windows\fc.exe. The problem is that none of these files actually exist on your computer. Instead AntivirusDoc is stating that you have these malware files, even though you do not, for one reason; to scare you into purchasing their software. It goes without saying that you should definitely not do so.
This guide will walk you through uninstalling the AntivirusDoc rogue and any related malware that may be installed with it.
