How to remove AntiSpywareMaster (Removal Instructions)Posted by Grinler on April 30, 2008 @ 05:04 PM · Views: 6032
What this programs does: AntiSpywareMaster is a rogue anti-spyware program from the same developers as AntiSpywareExpert. Once installed, AntiSpywareMaster will scan your computer and display a variety of false positives and fake results, which can only be removed if you purchase a license of the software. The problem is that the infections found are all legitimate programs being falsely labeled as malware. For example, AntiSpywareMaster flags the C:\Windows\System32\loghours.dll file as Dialer.Sexprovider. In reality, though, this is a legitimate Microsoft Windows file. It goes without saying that you should take anything this program displays with a grain of salt. Below are screen shots of AntiSpywareMaster.
