DVD-RAM
DVD-RAM (DVD–Random Access Memory): DVD-RAM discs can be recorded and erased repeatedly. DVD-RAM discs may be housed in cartridges and generally compatible only with devices manufactured by the companies that support the DVD-RAM format.
There are several different formats on the market. Recent DVD recorders however also work with no-cartridge discs while some devices even do not support cartridges anymore.
