WikiWiki
Also known as: Wiki

A WikiWiki, or Wiki, is a collection of Hypertext documents. The key difference between a Wiki and other collections of Hyptertext documents, is that the pages found on a Wiki are collaborative and allow all users or registered users to change the content in these collections.

The term WikiWiki is derived from the Hawaiian phrase "Wiki Wiki" which means "Super Fast". This meaning is fitting as the speed in updating and creating pages in a Wiki is one of their main characteristics. An example of a site that is also a Wiki is : Wikipedia
