These are programs that appear harmless or even beneficial, but will contain other hidden programs that will install onto your computer without your knowledge. These hidden programs can allow a remote user to take over your computer, be viruses or worms, deliver popups and ads to your computer, hijack your browser, or act as spyware collecting your information without telling you.
