Whenever I try to play a DVD on my computer (MS Windows XP Pro SP2, NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200, 767MB RAM), it gives me an error:

WinDVD.exe - Bad Image
-------------------------------------------
The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\wnaspi32.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.
-------------------------------------------

I'm using Intervideo WinDVD 2000 as my DVD player. TY in advance.

Heres' what i would do I would download the zipped .dll file from here http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?wnaspi32 then I would unzip extract and place it in c/windows/system32 folder overwriting old one if it already exists read this page http://www.dll-files.com/unzip.php and that might do the trick.

Ok, I'm not getting the message anymore, but when I go to play the DVD, I click play and the view window pops up, then hit play again and nothing happens...

hmm...I dunno then sounds to me like the player is the problem . have you done all the basic stuff like check player settings and drivers, updates for Windows and uninstall/reinstalling the program? Did it works before and suddenly stop ?
