Howdy,

I am trying to install the software that came with my wireless remote keyboard and mouse.

The software is: Microsoft: IntelliType Pro 5.0 Keyboard Software (both are on one disk)

Microsoft: IntelliPoint 5.0 Mouse Software

When I put the disk in it sounds as if it is being read but nothing shows on the screen such as a installation wizard.

Any advice would be appreciated.

XP Home, SP-2, IE-7

Thanks,

Dennis

autorun/autoplay may be off

I would use the newer versions from MS myself

No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try.

Thanks for the reply

While I was waiting for a response I tried something on my own (most times a bad move). I clicked start, run and typed in setup.

A window came up and told me to go to the control panel and add the software through add/remove.

I followed the instructions and a Install Wizard appeared. It looked like it installed and configured the software.

I can not find it anywhere on the computer though. I am not sure if I have it or not. I would like to remove it if it is on the computer and download what you have suggested.

Any idea where I should look ?

I looked in add remove and in all accessories with no luck.

Thanks,

Dennis

My guess is sp2 already had drivers and it updated them or just reloaded over them?

If there's not an entry in add and remove programs then I wouldn't worry about it, just apply the new drivers

OK will do.

My only concern is the instructions for the downland says to make sure you remove any existing keyboard and mouse software before downloading.

Thanks Again,

Dennis
