There are 3 ways to do this:
1. using the toolbar, on the Add Reply page
2. using the toolbar on the Fast Reply box
3. manually
Using the toolbar, on the Add Reply page:
Either at the top, or bottom of a page, click the Add Reply button.
When the Reply page loads, click the Insert Link icon, on the toolbar.

This dialog box will open.

In the dialog box under URL, type/paste in the address of the site that you want to link to.

In the dialog box under Link text, replace My link with the text you want to be seen, when the link is posted.

When you have it the way you want it, click the Insert Link button, and the proper code will be added to your Reply.

When you post your message, it will look like this:
Avast Anti-virus
Using the toolbar in the Fast Reply box:
At the bottom of a page, left-click in the Fast Reply text area, to load the editor.
Once the editor is loaded, the procedure is the same as described above.
Manually:
When typing your post, you can manually insert the URL tags.
[url="http://THE URL TO YOUR LINK"]WHAT YOU WANT THE LINK TO SAY[/url]
So, if I were to use the same example, as above:
[url="http://www.avast.com/"]Avast Anti-virus[/url]
This is what it would look like, when the post it made.
Avast Anti-virus
If you want to practice posting links, go to the Tests and Scribbles forum, and play around.
That's what it's there for, and if someone sees you having troubles, they'll try to help you out.
