It caused the same problem, and so does a Ubuntu Live CD.

The Ubuntu Live Cd is worthless as a test for anything because it uses swap space on the hard drive. The Knoppix CD is a forensic CD, and as such, it does not touch the hard drive unless requested. :thumbsup:

Sorry for not replying. I can't download that Live CD due to a download threshold(i am only allowed 200mb/day and that is nearly 700mb)....... Is there anything else I can do?

I don't know if Ubuntu does it, but a lot of distros have a minimal install method and an network install. That might be worth looking into.
If someone tells you to su rm -rf /

I dont get what your saying. What I mean by my post is I can only download AND upload 200mb in a days time or my internet is down to 7-10kbps for 24 hours.
