How? backgrounds

How do you get good backgrounds and stuff round the outer bit like these in macromedia fireworks 8 >>

Do you mean where do you get them? Or how do you add them to your web site?

the third one is probably made with photoshop, download a brush of your choice at deviantart.com then erase the sig with it...the others are pretty much created with photoshop two...

Google up some tutorials on photoshop and fancy borders, you'll find a bunch of stuff.
