I have been trying to get rid of those Norton (Symantec ) files. They no longer appear in the control panel Add/Remove section, but I have gotten error messages referring to some Norton features I thought I got rid of. After one error about Norton Utilities, I got a tip to reinstall it and then uninstall. When I tried to reinstall, I got a message it was already installed.
My operating system is Win 98SE. My browser is Firefox. My ISP is Toast.net 56K dialup.
TIA,
dulcim

Hi dulcim,
Have a look at the Topic; How To Remove Your Norton Products.
Scroll down to Removing NAV/NIS 2003 and Earlier Products.
Just a reminder that if you edit your Registry, to be sure to back it up first.
