Me and my friends want to make a website for a clan we're making on a computer game. Nothing big, just something that will have news, screenshots of the game, and a link to an invisionfree board.
So, I had apache a year or two ago, and remember it worked. So I download it on my older computer, to be used as a server, and it won't start running because it says no services installed. I don't remember installing any services when I previously had it. Anyways, can someone please give me a link to a service that is good? I just want a basic one since I'm new to this.
Also, can anyone please give me any tips, on using apache or making a web site? Haha, all I know really is basic html. My friend will help me a bit since he made his own website too.
Thanks for reading this!
EDIT: I forgot to mention I have apache 2.2.4 and
My computer is running windows 98, with an amd k6-2 333mhz processor, 192mb of ram, and a 6gb hard drive.
