Need Help With Windows Vista

I really need help fixing my husbands computer. He bought the computer from best buy last week, and when he turns it on, it says "windows explorer has stopped working" He has windows vista and is upset because he cant figure it out.


Please, if anyone can give me advice, I would greatly appreciate it

have you loaded anything onto this computer (software/drivers) since you bought it, or did it start doing this straight out of the box?

Did BestBuy setup the system (and did they install any additional software), or did you set it up straight out of the box? What make and model is it? Have you tried any of the repair/recovery options in the Start Menu? Have you checked your Event Viewer and the Reliability Monitor for more information on the errors?
