How To Run Win Sound Recorder In Xp does XP have the old sound recorder installed

I am looking for win sound recorder in my XP machine is it still a part of windows?
I want to edit mp3's

Tried that but the only program I have in entertainment is Media Player

Well, you could try mp3DirectCut or Audacity but I have no idea where Sound Recorder went in XP MCE you could also try to search for it (Soundrec.exe) on your computer

Can't help you with that, Martel.
Tried searching for where it would be located, or if it even comes with Windows Media Center, and I couldn't find anything.

As an alternative, you could try Audacity.
