What it means when I go to try out Windows Vista screensavers it says

"The screen saver can't run because it requires a newer video card or one that's compatible with Direct3d"

I saved up just to get this program, and now something doesn't work. I'm frustrated and disappointed. Something tells me. I'm going to have to save up once again.(

I am running Window Vista Premium
My machine was orginally Windows Millenium > Then Windows xp professional

Sorry to say it may be time for an upgrade, Vista can be run on a low end machine but if you want all the bells and whistles you may need more PC muscle!

What make and model of video card do you have? If you don't know, what make and model is your system? There's a chance that your system isn't updated, so an update may make this possible for you. Here's a link to the DirectX v9.0c download: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en
