Adding More Ram To Laptop

I'de like to add more ram to my DellE1505 , my Q is what is the best for the money? BTW i have 1GB and obviously only have the room to double. Thanks for the time to help. :thumbsup:

What is the frequency of the ram you currently have? This will affect your options, as you can only buy ram at matching speeds. Mine is 333mhz or something like that.
EDIT make sure you buy a SODIMM module

Thats ur PC number. Your PC number is your DDR number multiplied by 8. For example, a DDR2 800 would be a PC2 6400. Your DDR (or whatever it is for SODIMMs) number is 525 mhz. Look for a SODIMM module running at that frequency.

Your laptop has DDR2 PC2-4200 OR DDR2 PC2-5300 SODIMM Memory. Anything from them (crucial ) would work and I beleive they offer a lifetime warrenty when you order direct from them. Its 43.99 USD plus shipping for a 1024 DDR2 PC4200. You can log onto their site and scann your laptop to assure compatibility with your current memory.. The computer supports PC2-4200 and PC2-5300 ram.
