hi i'm mrgari glad to be on board i'm a beginner with compter and would like to do photography I 'm on a wal mart budget and would like to know what compter and printer should i purchase on my income.

Well I think MacIntosh is out of the question even if it is a photographers first choice. So maybe if you can buy Pentium III with about 800 Mhz processor and about 384 megs RAM (or more) you'll be ok.
You'll need lot of it specially if you're planning to run Photoshop on it. P III is cheap and fast enough and RAM isn't that expencive nowdays.. About the printer, I have Epson Stylus Photo 950 and I love it.. It was little expensive, but image quality is sublime.. I wouldn't know about other printers but little Googling and looking around the shops will do miracles. :flowers:
