Wonder if his parents are thinking that the money spent to keep their son in college was a waste.
Never let your computer realize you are in a hurry or just typing the last few words of a vital document.

While outer events might make one happy or sad, happiness itself is entirely internal, and at all times completely within one's power.

Hey, I've seen Myth Busters. I know this doesn't work because after a traveling a few inches the stream breaks up.

That was a pretty good episode. I think we were all hoping for the bad result though.

So,

one won't get electrocuted,

or one shouldn't pee on a PS2?

I would think so -

especially if the stream wasn't more than a few inches from the electrical source.

13:28 - myth starts
25:00 testing of the myth starts.

It can really happen, just given certain circumstances. Seems weird though it was a ps2, he must have had it apart or something, plastic doesn't conduct electricity.

I can't get to gaming sites from work either, so I can't check out the site, but...

I would be skeptical. First, doesn't the PS2 use a 'wall wort' type of power supply? If so, that would mean only low voltage on the unit itself. Second, as previously stated, the stream breaks up and unless done at *very* close range the stream would not be conductive.

Finally, the victim was electrocuted then taken to the hospital? To be electrocuted means to be killed by electrical shock. If you are dead they generally take you to the morgue, not the hospital.

Perhaps he was actually in the middle of a game when this happened,

and they had to take him to the hospital in order to get

to the next level?

Some do, some dont. Assuming A wall Wort is either a transformer plug (which havent been used for a gaming system since the 16 bit era SNES and Genesis)or a converter box like Printers and laptops. Mine (PS2 Slimline) uses a converter box. (Many of these were recalled due to overheating). My Girlfriends ad my original (currently residing @ Moms house) used internal converters and standard wall plugs.

Also both models available in the US do not hold up well when wet. Spill 8 oz of cold coffee on one and watch the spark show (note: the boards will be melted into the case at some points Like the chipset which will overheat itself) i had one given to me that had been ruined like this.(Needed the Laser and Spindle for mine)
