Vista Home Premium loaded onto my desktop, I want to load XP also, but I have to get rid of Vista first. I have the Vista CD, but when I follow the installation (and un-installation) process, I just get bounced back to the same screen, that is, to enter product key. Frustrating, can anyone help me with this un-installation process? -------------------- "Ua mau ke ola o ke kai"

Inventing new words here, that frustrated.......lol [/quote] Well if you have the XP cd then make sure you are booting from the CD if not then you will have to go into the BIOS and change the boot order. Once you have that done then when you are setting the hard drives up for the system just make sure to create two partitions one for XP and one for Vista. Once you complete the XP install then when you do the Vista make sure to use the second partition you created to run it from then you can run the dual boot. |

Probably the easiest thing is to download a free utility from the manufacturer of your hard drive to format it. Then proceed with the XP installation (don't forget the SATA drivers, if needed).
