It's not so much a conversion, but a program that you need. You'll need an "emulator", which you can download from various places....just be cautious with where you download them from, as you don't want to download a virus! ohmy.gif Once you have the emulator, you'll need to download the games for the emulator. Leagally, I believe that you can only download the games that you already own in order to avoid copyright law violations.

Seems like you'll need to upgrade from your onboard graphics to an AGP card, which will cost around $100 for a decent one (ok, maybe a little more!). Your ram and cpu speed should be ok.

As for being able to put a PS game in your CD/DVD drive, I don't believe you can. There's a code on the game disc that (in theory) only the game console itself can read in order for it to play the games. A computer will probably read it as "unreadable" or something of that nature.

Hope this helps! thumbup2.gif

Thanks Steve,
you clear me various things about PS2,
but can you tell me how much graphic card memory(256 MB or 512 MB or more) is sufficient,
as i'm from India & there is some price difference from USA.

I should think that a high end 128 mb graphics card would run any games for a PS2 emulator. However, I would get at least a 256 mb card just "better to be safe than sorry!" wink.gif Off the top of my head, the Nvidia 7600GT comes in both AGP or PCI-e 16x (PCI express), and is between $100 and $200 for one (closer to $100) and is a decent card for the money with good clock and memory speeds.

Thanks Steve

Thanks for solving my problem.
My vaccations are starts after few weeks and I'm gonig to enjoin's these holidays bu playing games on my PC.

Thanks again

Ya i have one more problem actually i downloaded various cracks/keygen from various sites, now i came to know that these kinds of sites are the home of adware's,
yet ad-aware & spybot fixes various of them but i think that none anti-spyware program can clean all the spywares,
might be some adware's are still in my PC

My PC speed was average but it not shows the dual-core performance,
I have 512 MB of RAM,
i submitted my hijackit list here
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/ind...c=92651&hl=

I'm not sure that slow PC speed is bcoz. of adware's or becoz. of that reason ki,
I have installed no. of softwares

I see that you're working on a HJT log, and that DASOS is helping you! wink.gif My best advice is to work with DASOS and do exactly as he says. He'll have your computer running "like new" by the time he's done. The volunteers here that make up the entire HJT team are really top notch! Keep in mind that if you don't understand something, then just ask for more specific instructions, this way he knows that you'll be doing the right thing and taking the right steps to help clean your computer.

Until you are completely done your HJT log, it is strongly recommended that you do not make any changes to your system, to include installing or removing programs, as this might affect the process of cleaning your computer.

Best of luck! thumbup.gif
