I don't want to enter the debate about the relative merits of Norton products over against the alternatives, but say that with my router and NIS that things have gone well for a long time.
I was getting ready to install NIS 2007 on my laptop, when I noticed that the Symantec web is pushing Norton 360. I'm just sure what I would be missing with Norton 360 so I would appreciate some help in understanding how they compare.

Helpfup responses, but I'm still confused. I guess since the regualar NIS has worked in the past that it will still best fit my configuration.
I dont like the rule that the 12 months starts when the software is installed on the first of three computers.

I like Norton Internet Security 2007 better. Norton 360 firewall leaves some ports not completely stealthed, however it does have its advantages. I still like Norton Internet Security 2007 better though.

Probably the best Rule of Thumb is to stick with what works for you, until you maybe find something better. Different systems, different apps, different results - you simply cannot get a full consensus.
