Important Announcement: We have two terrific contests running on the site that I wanted all our members and guests to know about.

The first contest is the HP Magic Giveaway, which is underway as of November 28th. More information can be found at this topic, which will be updated very soon with further information.

The second contests, is for the chance to win two Seagate FreeAgent external hard drives. More information about this contest can be found here.

These are both amazing contests and I suggest everyone submit an entry for them.

Since IE is so interwoven into your OS you can't really remove it, without major operability issues. Just don't use it. I have OE on my machine for XP updates and MS website browsing and sites that won't render on any other browser. Other than that, I use an alternate browser or three and just ignore IE. I don't even have a desktop icon for IE.

If you just want it out of sight go to start, control panel, add/remove programs, windows components, and uncheck ie and click next and go through the wizard and it will be gone, for the most part.
