However, in saying that, I came across an interesting service the other day which will keep track of your borrowing and advise you when your books are coming due, and other related services, which will help avoid overdue fines.
It is a worldwide service and you can check it out at http://www.libraryelf.com

I hardly get to go to the library anymore. I take my niece when she's here; she likes to go when they read stories.
Thanks for that link, I'll check it out when I get home.

And, with all the great books available on-line and at no cost at IPL, Perseus, and Project Gutenberg that I still should read, I spend more and more time reading material I have downloaded.

John

Good thing libraries and all their books are free or I'd be bankrupt in no time if I had to buy them - eep!
While outer events might make one happy or sad, happiness itself is entirely internal, and at all times completely within one's power.

I commute to work by city train (kinda but subway, but actually on ground, not under - thinking about it, our subway doesnt even go "underground" 70% of its tracks) and need about 20 minutes. I use that time to read the weekly journal "der spiegel." I sometimes need a fortnite to finish it, but thats oke. I find myself spending about 12 hrs a day in front of a pc due to work and this website

Reading on the computer is not to everyone's taste, but one can download the file and then either change the font or print it and put it in a binder. Some formatting will give you a spacious blank area on one side of the page or the other that you can fill with notes.
Cheers,
John
