If you have 2 operating systems on 2 separate partitions but are only using one, is the other one accessible to hackers and able to be given viruses or spyware - ie is all of your computer "vulnerable" or only the bits that are "up and running" Thanks.

Both partitions are equally vulnerable, as although a virus can only "arrive" at the partition you are actually running, that virus if not detected may carry a "payload" which has been instructed to infect any or all partitions on that same physical disk. Taking the argument further, nothing connected to your PC which is capable of being written to, is immune from infection, regardless of it's initial point of entry.
