For now, I'm finding everything I need for information.

Maybe some new freinds to. It does "stand-out" that most of you people are from the US. Not that that is very surprising, this is offcourse an english spoken forum, and not that it is bad, becouse americans can be very much fun!

Furthermore, I hope to be finding not only new information, and new friends, but also some new idea's and visions of life.

Hello everyone,
I don't have a lot of computer experience. In fact I have a problem right now, but I will post that in the appropriate spot. I am 30 years old and a paralegal student online with Kaplan University. I hope to learn much more about computers so I will not panic everytime I have a problem. Iwill appreciate any help that I recieve.

Welcome to BC!
I took the liberty, Heather, of taking your reply to another post and making it a new a separate topic in a different forum. Your problem about Word document saves is now in the business applications forum.
When you have a problem, if you put it in a reply to some other problem, the tendency will be for it to get lost (no one will look at it because they are either not interested in the original topic of the thread, or think the reply is meant to resolve the original problem).
Rule of the thumb in posting to boards is "new problem/ different problem, then new post."
Regards,
John

Hmm.....I know enough to keep my network spanky clean and be of help to the locals in my small town. Didn't know enough to keep my son away from my dis-mantled lap top though wacko.gif
Running Fx with Avast!/Sygate (free ones) along with the 'standard' stuff like ad-aware SE etc.

Looking forward to learning something and maybe being of some help to some one.

I am totally confused by this introduction process as I am about many thing esp. with the computer. Lately I've been fantacizing about turning my computer into a really usefull machine. It would be something like Charlie Brown and his friends taking an ugly stick with some pine needles sticking out of it and somehow transforming it into a well decked out Christmas tree. I ran across this site looking to the answer to a simple question but finding it I'm thinking I may have found my best friends. Imagine a place I can go with my endless "How the H#$* do you do this?" questions!

There is a self-help removal topic for spysheriff, Markko:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/How...exe-t22402.html

Follow the instructions and you should be able to get rid of it.
Regards,
John

While it is true that most members here are American, BC also has many members from Canada, the UK, Australia, and NewZealand, not to mention from almost every nation in the world.

Somewhat outdated, but nevertheless interesting and probably representative, is a list of known nationalities of BC members:

Computing is making the world one free and open community.

Regards to all,
