Ffdshow How to remove/delete?

Hi there, Im wondering if any of you can help me get rid of ffdshow audio decoder?
Im not exactly sure where it came from or how it got on my computer. There are 5 of us who use the same one, so I guess it coulda been anyone. I do know that I've never heard of it and I'm not sure if its doing any good. I tried searching for a way to uninstall or remove it but I'm not a computer genius and just cant figure it out. Any help will be appreciated! :thumbsup:

Ffdshow mostly comes as part of a codec pack. Look for entries such as K-Lite codec pack

Try using Codec Sniper to check your codecs and potentially disable them. Is there any reason why you don't want the ffdshow anymore?

Be carefull what you disable and delete within your codecs
Disabling randomly could harm the quality of your sound and movies.
