I have set the Auto Update to run every morning at 9 AM.To me that means @ 9 am Updates are downloaded and installed on my computer, if available, without me having to do anything other than to ensure that i am connected to the internet. But no in order to receive updates I have to check for updates manually and i only know if they are available if i look on COU. Perhaps i have misunderstood what Auto updates means. Thanks. Philip |

I have been thinking,I do that occasionally,my problem with updates maybe self induced.Perhaps someone will advise.
I have just remembered i blocked an Active X application because i was uncertain of what it was.It has been unblocked now that i understand a little better. We shall see what happens next update time. |
