Important Announcement: We have two terrific contests running on the site that I wanted all our members and guests to know about.

The first contest is the HP Magic Giveaway, which is underway as of November 28th. More information can be found at this topic, which will be updated very soon with further information.

The second contests, is for the chance to win two Seagate FreeAgent external hard drives. More information about this contest can be found here.

These are both amazing contests and I suggest everyone submit an entry for them.

Windows Vista should have had an inbuilt antivirus program. it's not anticompetitive cuz vista already has a 2 way firewall and antispyware.

Windows/Vista should have been written/designed so anti-anything is not needed.

I think there are more eggs in the basket than that - why pick on MS. Viruses are of national concern. I am campaigning, in my country of residence, that the Government and/or ISP's should offer free downloads of Antivirus and spam controllers. They possibly even have the facilities to write the programs themselves.

I really disagree with the concept that others should be made responsible for the bad choices that some people make.
