BleepingComputer.com: Mp3 Player Question

my wife has an ipod. she uses itunes on here computer to do what she needs to play music and put music on her ipod. I am thinking about getting an mp3 player. either an ipod or zen vision.

here is what i am trying to do if any one can help. i would like to keep all of the music in one location. then have the app access from that folder. the problem i am having is that itunes does not see new mp3s when they are placed in that folder. i have to add them in. i am looking for an app that can sync to mutliple mp3 players that can also auto scan the music folder for new files. i tried using winamp but did not like the interface that much. if there is a way to get itunes do auto update that would be the best because my wife is using that and it is hard to get here to switch.
