Important Announcement: We have two terrific contests running on the site that I wanted all our members and guests to know about.

The first contest is the HP Magic Giveaway, which is underway as of November 28th. More information can be found at this topic, which will be updated very soon with further information.

The second contests, is for the chance to win two Seagate FreeAgent external hard drives. More information about this contest can be found here.

I have a key port (123) issue according to Live! Messenger. error 80048820 extended 80048406.

Two days ago, my myspace account was phished and I changed password, I also changed Yahoo and Live! passwords. I can login to Yahoo Mail, I can login to Live! Support. I CANNOT login to either messenger service directly. This only occurred after changing passwords.

If I open BellSouth Messenger, I can login to both using the NEW passwords, send and receive messages.

I went to Audit My PC, did scans and found a former login port for NetController. I ran Ad-Aware, Avast Antivirus, Spybot S&D, changed from Windows firewall to Comodo, and fixed a problem where my time/date was not syncing. Audit My PC showed me that my IP address is in Orlando with a remote DSL; I am in Sanford (20 miles away).

I do use a DSL with BellSouth, and just now I had a popup screen showing that a dial-up connection was trying to be made unsuccessfully.

I think that my computer has been compromised, but I am not sure. I have posted this issue in 12 forums so far with only one answer - to sync the time/date.

If anyone can help me, I would SO much appreciate it. I have no problem using BSM, but I am wondering if someone else is accessing Y! and Live! on my account. dance.gif
