Once it does open, it takes for ever get into the Inbox, or anything else for that matter. All this is after my computer has been up and running for awhile.
Do I have a control setting that's wrong? Any thoughts?

Did you install any Anti-virus program lately?
Is it just Outlook2003 that is slow or is it thesame to all the other programs?

I'm not sure if Outlook 2003 is a memory hog or not
I have Outlook 2007 and it works smoothly
It only uses about 20,000k and should hardly be slowing my system
But i don't use Outlook

Yes, this is a new install as my laptop is new. Both computers had Office 2003 downloaded from the same disc.
My computer guy talked me into using Norton Internet Security 2007, and I'm thinking Norton may be the problem, but not certain.
XP-Pro, SP2, 2GB RAM
