When you attempted to install, did you see these options?
Add/Remove Components - choose if you want to add/remove some AVG component or reinstall the entire AVG program Repair installation - this option repairs or reinstalls missing or damaged components of AVG Uninstall - this option removes the AVG program from your PC If you do, at that point you can choose to uninstall. |

Already tried that a couple of times. It says that it is uninstalled, but it is not and it stills shows up under the add/remove progs list. I have also tried microsoft msiinstaller clean up utility but its not showing on there either.

It may very well be uninstalled and yet show up on the add/remove programs list. Check your hard drive, under Program Files, for the folder called "Grisoft", and right click on it so that you get the "properties" drop down menu, which will indicate how many files, folders, and bytes is still there.
Let us know what you find. Regards, John -------------------- Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one should be silent.

Yea, it was still there. Nevermind, I just deleted every entry for grisoft and AVG in the registry to fix it. I was lloking for a wuick fix for that becuase there was at least 700-1200 reg keys for that prog. This can be closed unless there is still a quick fix for it.
Thanks. |
