Firstly thanks in advance if you able to help me out with my little problem. I guess straight to the point. Bought a brand new laptop vista installed - I need to run one of my business programs that uses Access. I have loaded Access 03 version and i when i try to open my program it says it is read only. Apparently there is a patch to fix this problem( which as i understand is a security problem??) If you respond thanks a million. Cheers Bisquett |

From this link ( http://uksbsguy.com/blogs/doverton/archive...p-on-vista.aspx )
Try running the setup.exe file as an Administrator. Most common problems of this sort are linked to corrupt media (scratched disk) or a problem with the autorun process. He's also got info there if you run into the EULA repeating itself every time it launches. -------------------- - John
