I hope that this is the correct sub-forum. It seemed like the most logical choice to me. I have been doing some searching, without any luck, for any possible freeware programs that would compare to the famous "Quicken". Would anyone happen to be aware of any? Thank you to all who take the time to reply.

Thanks for the links, Mr. Alpha. I think that I'll take jGnash for a spin.

Well, jGnash was the only one that I was able to even begin to figure out. But, it kept "linking" my accounts. It would show a credit card purchase as a DEPOSIT into my checking account on its own. No instructions. As for the other two, after reading their descriptions, I don't even want to try to figure them out.
Thanks again, Mr. Alpha. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Thank you, Fozzie. I'll try it out. I can't stress enough how much I appreciate Mr. Alpha's links; I know that he was only going from memory, and he never tried any of them. However, this one appears (at least according to the description on the web site) to be much nicer than those first three.
