Can't play any movie at all on my PC.

My default is Region 4 but nothing in Region 4 will play at all. Media Player, Nero or Power DVD just tells me there's no disc.

Please can anyone help me anyone ?

Can you read other disks on the system?
Are these burned copies or are they the originals?
Have you tried the movies on other PC's
Do you have the proper codecs installed?

Do you have it set to the correct region?

DVD set to Region 4 which all dvds i'm using are ORIGINAL R4, they worked before upgrading to Vista.

Don't ask what hapened, but PC did an update and restarted, so a tried again took a while, but worked......

I have a program called DVD Region+CSS Free so i can play Region 1 & 2 DVDs (as in australia we don't get some releases)....

So seems to be ok now.
