How Do I Connect To My Other Computer

Hello, im trying to access files on my computer downstairs. I cant seem to find any info on how to do this. I have windows xp upstairs and windows me downstairs. Im trying to clean up the downstairs computer because its really slow. The computers are on the same router. Can someone please give me info on how to do this.

Hi griffer, the easiest way to network to your ME PC is remote acsses, this will give you full control over it. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/m...emoteintro.mspx
You will also need to open a port on your router, http://portforward.com/routers.htm
Another way is to set up shared folder and remote to them e.g. \\computer name but this will only give you access to shared folders.
