Yes I am running using a linksys router but tried to set up the network throughn the computer. I am not sure if I did it right but it is showing the printer on the laptop. I am not sure if their is a built in firewall to be honest. The model router is a wrt54g.

I use activesync to sync with my pda phone so I can transfer business docs. I use wireless sync to sync my outlook with my desktop which is the main computer that is directly connected with the printer and the router.

My desktop has comoto the laptop has no protection which I was planning on handling this weekend. Thank you so much for trying to help. I really need this.

I sync my files to my phone via usb and all of my outlook is synced wirelessly.
