Hi..
Im having problems downloading MySpace IM and cant find any info anywhere about this so hopefully someone can help.

When i downloaded the program, it took me through set up then asks me if i would like to run the program, so i do.. the myspace IM console opens up for about 10 seconds then dissapears. When i attempt to open the program again from the desktop or start menu, a box pops up that says missing shorcut - windows cannot find the shortcut and an option to browse or cancel, i tried to browse but nothing worked. Ive un-installed and re-installed the program many times and still no-go..I have no-idea how to fix this so any help is appreciated

thanks

Are you able to download any other programs? If so, does the installation process do the same thing as the myspace IM ?

Let me know. This will help BC diagnose whether or not the problem is a virus or spyware.

Ive downloaded a program called MySpace Instant Messenger. The program downloads fine but when i try to run the program a window pops up which says "Missing Shortcut", Ive re-downloaded the program many times and my computer is totally clean, ive had it checked thouroughly through these forums.. All other programs that i download work fine, its just this one that doesnt..

Any help would be appreciated.

Where did you download it from?

Go to this link and scroll down to the section: I cannot install MySpaceIM. Try to install it using the direct link given.
