Personally i use Vb6 for Windows programs and command line / vi for Linux.
I also have Runtime Revolution which is a cross-platform developer suite for Linux, but i'm very new to it and haven't played with it much.

I work with a variety of programming tools.

Borland Delphi, Borland C++Builder and Microsoft Assembler (MASM). In that same order do I program my applications. Use Delphi; use BCB for what cannot be done in Delphi, and use MASM for speed optimization (where needed!).
