Hi TONY L,
You can have a look thru' this Anti-Virus Comparison to get an idea how they are all performing. If you are concerned about resources, my experience with Norton products is that they are a huge resource hog. Check out our section Freeware Replacements For Common Commercial Apps. You could try Nod32, this is light on resources and has a good reputation.

I would recommend AVG Anti-Malware (antivirus and antispyware) or the Internet Security Suite, which I use. The free versions of AVG antivirus and antispyware are very good also, some other choices to check out are DrWeb antivirus, F-prot antivirus and NOD32.

QUOTE NOD32's spyware protection, though not yet on a par with its antivirus capability...is a good choice if you want one tool to provide your antivirus and primary antispyware protection. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,1916802,00.asp -------------------- "THE BAD GUYS DON'T NEED A SEARCH WARRANT.
