This supposedly explains how I, as a Comcast customer, can access newsgroups via giganews. However, I can only find ways to use newsgroups via Outlook Express. Can anyone help me with using my comcast account in giganews?

nyyanks, If the link above doesn't help you, try the Comcast help forums. There is a forum specifically for Usenet (Newsgroups).

From the Comcast home page, sign in with your account name. Then click HELP on the right side of the page, then Help Forums. You may have to choose a name to use in the forum.

Scroll down to Usenet, go to that forum. There is a sticky (pinned) post at the top-Comcast Newsgroup FAQs-which will tell you what you need to know.

nyyanks, I actually set this up last night for my home computer. You have to use a news reader to access the newsgroups. They don't have a web-based interface for the comcast customers. I used OE, but you could use whatever you want.
