For some reason, I've never been able to understand JavaScript from any of the tutorials I've read. I think I'm going to have to buy a book like JS for Dummies or something lol. Anyone know of any good beginners JavaScript books?

Was it Java for dummies or Javascript for dummies? Java and Javascript are two very different things.

Check your local library. That way you can sample different books before buying 9assuming your library keeps their computer section up to date)

Never read it. I recommend this one http://www.amazon.com/JavaScript-visual-bl...c/dp/0764547305

Also, http://javascript.internet.com has lots of scripts that your can download and examine and use in your webpages.

I've never used Dreamweaver MX. I use Dreamweaver 8 for my website and I really like it!

This book is very good for learning HTML and beginning Javascript. I used it to become the masterful webmonkey that I am today!
