Limewire Cant Connect why?

i have AVG anti-spyware, COMODO firewall, Avast, spyblaster

There could be any number of reasons for this happening from firewall settings to your ISP blocking or filtering your Limewire connection. Try going through the links here, there are many, & see if you can determine what the cause may be.

i've tested all of those on the link... it did'nt worked...

when i was using a dial-up connection(without AVG anti-spy, comodo firewall, spyblaster and was using norton anti-virus) limewire works... but when i'm using now a DSL connection... lw cant connect

I would check to make sure Comodo firewall, isn't blocking it.

Post any errors or messages you may getting to clarify what you mean by limewire can"t connect. Is this happening when Limewire is starting up, when you are searching for files, or when you are downloading files?

Just to doublecheck, please click on the link below & see what it says. I'm not actually sure if you saw this or not but this will test to see if your ISP is blocking or filtering Limewire.

here's what i've experimented...

i did try to connect to my OWN IP ADDRESS and download my own file...

the download was successfull...

but if i want to search for other files... LW cant connect, see on the image(that was 5mins ago since the startup connection)

It seems like you are trying to use Direct Connect which would only work if you know the ip address of the other computer (such as a friend/family member) you want to connect to. Select the Keyword tab & select All Types & do a general search to see if Limewire connects. Pick your favorite band & see if any results pop up.

already solved the problem... i've configured the DNS and reinstall LW(deleted all LW files before installation then restart)
