BleepingComputer.com: Ie7

Please tell me how I find which version of IE I have currently installed on my system?
I thought I upgraded to IE7, but can't seem to find the version anywhere.
It's got to be so simple it's staring me in the face!

If you click help then about, it will give you version info.

Thanks for the input,but I still seem to have a problem. When I open IE, it shows FireFox as the home page, so there is no help button to click on.
This is confusing as IE should always be just IE,right? When I right click on the IE icon on my desktop, it shows as the first option open home page.
Now, how do I get FireFox to stay as my main browser, but still have the use of and/or retain IE?

You should be able to find IE in your "all programs" list, and be able to launch it from there, even if it is not your default browser. No matter what page it opens with, you should be able to click on "Help" in the top toolbar, and then click on "about."

Thank you all for your help. There was no button that said help, rather a symbol such as this >>, only wider. I clicked on that + lo + behold, there was the help function!
I do indeed have IE7. Someone at work told me if I have automatic updates on my system, it would have automatically been added to my system.

Hi honu 1.

In FireFox, go up to Tools/Options/Main/ and down at the bottom of the page is System Defaults. Click on the CheckNow box for options to set as your default browser.
